Death of the Mountain King
In this three-page TTRPG, the King is on his deathbed and every Dwarf in the mountain is eager to take his throne. Players take on the role of noble Dwarves living in a mountain hall. The king is dying and all of his family have sequestered themselves in his palace, waiting for the news of his inevitable death to break. Players will roleplay scenes as the family members, each vying for their place on the throne and the gold and power that comes with it. Unfortunately, some family members are higher in the line of succession than you, so they’ll have to be dealt with. Players take time to make alliances, work out secret deals, and weasel their way to the top. When the king dies, it's anybody’s game. First in the line of succession left standing is the new King of the Mountain. This game is available for digital download.
